In April 2012 I saw an advert asking for volunteers to support others in the smooth running of the football matches that would take place in July 2012.
On 15 June I viewed the wonderful site of the Torch zipping its way from Tyne to Millennium Bridge by the famous Bear Grills. A truly wonderful sight and a great evening.
I attended official Olympic training at Newcastle College for two days on 28th and 29th June 2012 and carried out a total of 18 hours volunteering support as an official Olympic Ambassador.
Thank you to all who sponsored me;the total amount collected was £150 which goes to Born to be Beautiful
